The six-month passport rule explained
Most destinations require your passport to remain valid for at least six months beyond your travel date. If you travel on 10 January, the passport should be valid until at least 10 July.
GoVisaX checks this automatically when you enter traveller details - an expiring passport is the single most common reason applications stall.
If your passport is close to the line, renew it before applying. Applying with a borderline passport risks losing non-refundable fees.
